I've got two that need to be returned, wouldn't be so bad but they both show full.

But further down the page in the Q and A's Whistle

What happens if the returned cylinder is half full/nearly empty? Do I receive a new full cylinder?

Yes – a full replacement 6kg CalorLite® will be issued entirely free of charge if the customer is returning a CalorLite® cylinder as part of the recall.

Will I be charged for the gas?

No, the replacement 6kg CalorLite® will be issued entirely free of charge if the customer is returning a cylinder as part of the recall.

Apparently the gas supply company are increasing the price by £5 next week I have heard, probably to recover the cost.

the lpg inside is worthless than 28p/l so that part is hardly going to break calors back.

lite and gas cylinder construction shouldn't really mix Rolling Eyes At work

Looks like they're using the safety recall as a vehicle to increase prices then with a plausible excuse as to why. They should be applauded for the recall, safety is paramount.

This probably explains why they have recently stopped (again) swapping the old 6kg/7kg for the Lite cylinders.

I use 19kg for the cooker/BBQ so I will empty mine out there before returning. As to cost of gas, Calor Heavy 6kg refill was £20, 19kg refill was £30 Rolling Eyes GONE - '07 TD4 GS manual Zermatt Silver
