About to order...

Metropolis Loire blue with rear spoiler and privacy glass, however torn between which interior colour to choose - ebony or ivory. Have seen plenty of ebony but not an ivory, could someone oblige with a picture? Thumbs Up

Will accept photos of HSE Lux...

Here you go! All of our LR's with light interiors have been badly stained by jean dye and is a nightmare to keep clean!

Thanks LRNUT. Looked at the picture and thought great, but then read your words of warning :'(

My 11 month old son will probably trash an ivory coloured interior!

Will likely go for run of the mill ebony... Sheep

Don't get me wrong light interiors are nice is a glossy mag or viewing in a showroom! It wound be an excellent match with Loire Blue but sadly the stressed jeans that I wear tend to mark the leather! Hence why I opted for pimento on mine Wink MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Cheap jeans?

I choose the very light cream coloured full leather interior in my 7yr old FL2 and have never regretted it; it lightens the whole feel of the interior. I have had no problems with the leather staining from jeans or anything else! Razz Life is not a dress rehearsal!

Depends what you mean by cheap? My jeans are roughly £120 - £160 mark. As I stated I wear the stressed type and it clearly says on the ticket that the jean dye transfer may occur! MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Go For Black interior, funny though, my dealer had told me orders for the freelander had now stopped being taken unless they were stock items only due to the changover at Halewood! Hit it he said, Hit it!--So I hit it, then he hit me---Doh!

Mine is Almond/Nutmeg (no longer available) and as per NickJan's comments, you need this to create a light and airy ambience. Black is way too dark, as the dash etc are all that colour. It just doesn't feel a nice place to be.

Yes, I also have dye transfer issues from denim on the drivers seat! but most FL's come with a bottle of LR Leather Cleaner on handover, and failing that, a quick squirt of Autoglym Leather Care does the trick in seconds! Foraging near Gaydon....

£160 for some Jeans - that's mental - can we have a picture of those as well please? I'm intrigued (like I'm missing out or something)

Get the dealer to throw in the autoglym package for free. I had this applied to my my14 ivory interior, i have a 2 and 4 year old and so far have cleaned up chocolate/puke/turds/pee and blood. All justs wipes clean with babywipes. I think the autoglym was guranteed for 5 years but would need to check my paperwork. The only marks that needed 20 seconds of scrubbing were from the child seats. My jeans dont leave any marks!.

It's a JLR direct lease scheme so no need to get involved with dealers. Thumbs Up The order availability is for SD4 auto only with privacy glass so only choice is ext and int colour. Decided on loire blue with ebony leather.
