Problem is a lot are company cars or hire cars,so why should the drivers worry. I can well understand your anger I would be the same. Too little damage to go thru an insurance company and loose the NCB, so its having to dive into your own savings to get it sorted.

You would probably find that the car that scrapped you pulled straight out and parked somewhere else. |

Very true. I would be surprised if anyone who knowingly did that would hang about in case you came back to your car before them. |

One of the biggest courses for an argument when out shopping, the 10 minute drive around the car park to pick a space. What I find with these scumbags is there also bone idle so park well away from the shop entrance as poss as they don't like walking more than 10 yards.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8

Sort of done the opposite, long time ago I had a MK 2 Cortina, proper metal bumpers, took a turning a little to fast at a local landmark which Badger will know, (The Pedastal) clipped a car coming the other way, so hard that both his wheel trims came off and left a scrape along the offside, it bent my bumper slightly, we both stopped, the driver got out and said sorry, gave me 」25 and said that the bumper would straighten ok, which it did. |

Ha ha ha, know it well Andy....were you heading up the A40 or down the Bradenham Road? Seen many a smash there over the years...I think it's one reason that they moved ithe monument off the roundabout and re-sited it back in the 80's.
I can't speak for everyone else, but personally no, I haven't. I tend to buy my cars outright from new, and therefore I take great pride in maintaining them both mechanically and visually. Most Land Rover drivers are sensible enough to know what they are doing on the road, so I doubt many will have actually hit anything, let alone a stationary parked vehicle that's nearly 2m high! Heading out of West Wycombe, tuning left on to Bradenham Road, the monument used to be in the middle of the triangle, this would have been around 1977, as you say, they have since moved the monument and made it a mini roundabout. |

I must admit I reversed out of my drive a year or so again and whilst turning, ran the wheel arch against the front (plastic) bumper of my neighbour's van.

Two occasions, both on the South Circular at Catford, people have driven into me and off sharpish. Both times no mark on my substantial Land Rover bumpers, but the satisfaction of seeing massive dents on theirs as they shot past and disappeared. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
