Unbeleivble attitude

I have just been sat in my office and a car pulls up next to mine, the lady then proceeds to get out hitting my car door 3 times before I got out to her

Her answer was don't worry I'm only doing it softly Shocked Rolling Eyes to which I said you might be but your car door it still hitting mine and if I find damage I will claim on her insurance, to be told to shut up Confused Then tried to reach her handbag instead of going to the other door to get it off the passenger seat

Typical of todays motorists, no consideration for anything but their own needs. I have noticed a sharp increase in lack of courtesy on the roads as well. It is now a rare occurance you get let out into a line of traffic. There also seems a desperate need to get just one car in front irrespective of the line of cars there may be.

I detest car parks, people have no respect for others so for short term parking and if lined I now overlap into the next space, ensuring no-one can squeeze into it and sod anybody else. I'm also aware I could be ticketed but it would work out cheaper than a repair.
Long term parking I will attempt to find a corner or end space where there might be a little extra room.

It really riles me that when challenged they see no harm in what they are doing.

Similar thing happened to me & my very first car in high school 20 years ago. It was not a great car but it was new & took me ages to save for. My door actually ended up with a dimple in it. The old bitch was so unapologetic about the damage she'd caused that I'm still pleased with my reaction which was to run my key up & down the side of her car several times!

I'd likely handle the same situation differently today but it sure felt good at the time! Twisted Evil

If I saw anyone dent my car and the driver doesn't cough up there and then for a dent master repair after they walked away from their car they would likely be walking home unless they carry two spare tyres! Whistle

People that don't respect my stuff will be repaid in kind x10 - FL2 3.2 i6 - There is no Replacement for Displacement

If my wife ever sells my stuff for what I told her I paid for it, there will be some bargains out there!

I can't believe your still saying you are still please with the damage you did to hers, the fact she was unapologetic doesn't warrant criminal damage to her car, straight forward claim against her insurance company maybe but to key it several times is worse action than hers Rolling Eyes

At least my lady, had the cheek to send the hairdresser around to ask me if i could move my car, so she could go without getting a ear full again Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I'd have moved my car for her Nick
Tight up against her door leaving her no option but to get in the other side.

I'd have been temped to start booting her car then say "I'm only doing it softly". But alas two wrongs don't make a right. It's a shame that some people have no respect and a lot of attitude, they need to be taught a lesson really. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

I blame the parking of the Vanilla Freelander, how much room does he need to get in the drivers side Whistle

I cannot understand people who give themselves very little room, you see them on car parks, loads of spaces and they will park right next to a car and then struggle to get out Banging Head

Yea well, that was over 20 years ago & I was a kid at the time. I can assure you that I've made peace with my self & become an ethical, productive member of society since.

I'll take note of your disgust however & make sure I keep any of my really offensive stories off this forum for you! Laughing
