Unbelievable what the previous owner did

Look what I just noticed above the inside of the up and over garage door I was adjusting to get it to lock better.

Please don't mention the wiring its something i have not got around to yet. Would you believe the main garage light is a sodium one? True.

Shocked sodium light in the garage, there isn't a strange pungent aroma is there?

Unbelievable, better get it all sorted, or hidden if you sell Whistle

Taz

this was all inspected before we bought we had an electrical survey done and they hadn't got a clue. Luckily we didn't pay for it. Yes it is a complete rewire job starting with a trip fuse box to split power and lighting.

I intend to use LED lighting as much as possible, I have used this company before

I sometimes think all these 'surveys' are not worth the paper they are written on and simply jobs for the boys.
We had to wait three weeks before moving in for a 'FENSA' certificate, when the windows went faulty they weren't interested in the fact the installer had gone bust, re invented themselves with a new name and re registered with FENSA, leaving me with duff windows and no one responsible.

Look on the bright side though ( Laughing ) that lamp will certainly find the swirl marks.

Where you see that light there is also a flourescent one behind it that doesn't work and about 4/5 ft away a small floodlight that also doesn't work. To be honest the lighting and power in the garage and workshop is a real mess. Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner
