Great car, great pics, looks very similar to mine but always nice to see fine photos of new and shiny Stornoway FL2's, much nicer than drearly old.... (.....ooops must not mention that colour in case of upsetting U-know-Hoo ).

Hi AndyC, are the clear indicators legal in Norway? I thought they had to be coloured.
Had clear side indicators on the last car for 8-years, so dont know what the difference should be now on the FL2 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

Hi AndyC, are the clear indicators legal in Norway? I thought they had to be coloured.
I'm going to guess (especially as Andy had no probs) that legislation in most countries in Europe simply says that the colour emitted from the side repeater (or indicators in general) is orange (amber), tehrefore the lense itself can be any colour you like. In Holland white lights are allowed for indicators, so there is no need for Dutch vehicles to have the fried egg look at all!!! |
