Try a search, I'm sure Chalkey has fitted a set of MY13 lights, the fronts were not easy and he said that a very competent Auto Electrician is required, they fit but the wiring is not straight forward.

England 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black

Yes I've had the new 2013 lights fitted to my 2012 freelander. The auto electrician reconfigutred the pins in the plug and also add 3 new pins.

The plugs on my freelander fit the new lamps but a make it work the pins needed to be moved and new one's added. The auto electrian needs to be good, because landrover have made it hard to change. The auto electrician who did my work had done lots of range rover sport make-overs so he know what he was doing. 2013 hse auto, black, almond leather, exnon lights, factory privacy glass, exhaust finisher, rear boot spoiler, mud flaps. Body door side moulding and steps.

What about rear lights? Are they plug and play?

Hope someone would post a diagram of pin configuration for the front light. Mahesh Harischandra

Australia 2011 Freelander 2 i6 SE Auto Santorini Black

Hey guys, Chalkey it sounds like your the go -to man for this..

I know it has been covered, a lot, but due to too much confusing information before I purchase the lights I wondered whether you could confirm the below..

I have a 2011 freelander 2 with halogen lights.

It looks like I can jump on eBay and buy a set of 2013 Xenon lights with signature strip and (with some handy electrical work) make the signature strips light up as they do with a 2013 model (dim on indicating, light when unlocking car etc) and change the car ccf file to show xenon

Assuming that is correct, The question is, do I need anything other than the lights to make xenon work? I head talk of ballast etc but I think this is all built into the light unit?

So, a handy electrician and a workshop with access to autologic and that's it? (Assuming I don't need it to auto level etc)

How long would it take a competent electrician? So I can work out a rough cost for installation. 2011 black FL2
