2007 side repeaters - can you change outside casing ?

Hi

I wondered if you can change the side repeaters casing on the Freelander 2 (57 plate) from the orange to white?

Thanks

Yes, you just buy the clear ones, they remove by sliding forward and lifting out

It's then up to you what you do with the bulbs, leave for a fried egg look, or change to silvered organge bulbs for complete white look Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Yes, you can buy clear or smoked versions from your dealer or off the 'bay. Will need to change your bulbs to amber tinted though. The lens slides forward/back to remove.

Landrover didn't think you could Shocked

The newer cars have them as standard, I would consider changing dealers to one that knows their product Rolling Eyes Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Hi Shilen

Thanks so much Smile

I went back to the dealer where I bought the car today as it needed a few tweaks done to the hand brake and central locking (seems I need two new door locks) they have had to order parts from Land rover, so they have said they would also order clear casings and new bulbs. He wasn't 100% sure he would be able to get them for me in time for the rest of the work to be done, and as they are long drive away I won't be going back if they don't receive them in time.

Can I let you know after Monday when I have the door locks changed? If they are not able to get them I will definitely be interested Smile

Ella
