England 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Santorini Black
Thank God for side steps

Last night I was forced to make a diversion by a closed road in my town; i (perhaps foolishly!) tried a road that I knew was very narrow but should get me where I wanted to be, sadly, it too was closed meaning I had to perform a three pointer in a VERY confined space, using someone's drive entrance. after about five shunts, I thought I was clear & pulled away. Cue a nasty jolt & expensive sounding grating! Fearing the worst I had a look, expecting the rear n/s wheel arch would be a mess but "happily", the sidestep had taken the brunt if it - phew! From a time when dinosaurs weren't just confined to zoos!
