FL2 in a crash

I was wondering if anyone has crashed their FL2 and how it faired. I know it gets 5 stars in the euroncap test and in some ways this is a tougher test for a heavier car because it has to dissipate more energy. In a real world crash I imagine it would fair pretty well with its extra weight and height.

Last posted in 2009 and the registration number doesn't seem to be in use?
Looks like it was left on the car and written off.

sorry but, no thanks. Wouldn't want to be in the back when a 40T truck hit, no matter how much strengthening it has.

Maybe you should not be driving then Laughing

Everything in life is dangerous to an extent! What if someone posted a photo of a head on accident with a 40 ton lorry Whistle

Would you then never drive or sit in a vehicle again? MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Still wouldn't withstand a 40 tonne truck if hit like the Rimini Red one above. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

The boot area of the Rimini Red car appears to have crumpled 'nicely' leaving the passenger compartment pretty much ok. Where would the energy of a vigorous rear- end impact get dissipated if the rear is strengthened to protect row 3?

Land Rover will have designed something in certainly but the rear crumple zone has presumably gone...
