United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Orkney Grey

I suspect thats more a random coincidence unless they were able to give specific details of your incident. I can only speak from 30 years experience. Police forces will only release to appropriate third parties with consent of the victim, subject to data protection and usually on payment of a fee.

There have been instances of staff being prosecuted for releasing information as part of criminal conspiracies and I can't speak of Leamington nick.

The government have been clamping down on 'claims farming' companies that chase ambulances Td4 XS manual, Orkney Grey, MY2014

2011 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Fuji White

Ouch at the photos, hope no one was hurt!

I reversed into a parked X5 last year, not a scratch on our car, but the X5 owner came back with a bill for 250 to repair his bumper. I took pictures and couldn't spot any damage at the time, but didn't argue with him because it was clearly my fault.

Forgot to mention, the last incident happened a few days after I had a PDR guy tap out all the dings and dents we had collected over the years. So it was looking pristine again for a total 3 days. Hopefully I'll find some time this weekend to pull the misaligned packing sensor back into place, then maybe look to fitting some side mouldings.

It is worrying that either police of insurance companies are passing our details around to these claims management companies. Not sure if its comforting that they appear to only pass on our name and phone number since non of the ones that called me up had any clue about what actually happened. I was already a little worried about leaving my details with a neighbour, since if he was unscrupulous he now has the information needed to fake a claim against my insurance.
