I recently came across a pair of fords (the wet ones, not the ones with wheels).

Possibly, but I didn't select reverse before going through the fords, and anyway the sound was continuous, not a beep-beep-beep, and not as loud as the parking sensors
I will have a look at that possibility, but haven't used YouTube before, so will see how I get on! In the meantime here is a 'still' taken from the video (hence the poor resolution)

Never understood quoted wading depths. My much loved Freda F/L1 3dr was something like 400mm but the air intake was located at the rear top corner of the frt wing, she would have floated before ingesting water and was happy wading well above the quoted figure. So I just do not know whether it is a stationary or dynamic measurement. What I do know for certain is that if the water gets upto the level of the LHS Frt Wing Air Intake on F/L2 then you are *****d. Got the Hunters dear. still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit |

Hello, i'd like to know from PepperPot if water crossed the bottom seal of the door: rubber mats were still dry or not after wading?
