Read somewhere that the first LR model was about 450 pounds, which was probably expensive in 48.

When I was a little boy (over 50 years ago) my grandaddy had a Rover 80 with REAL wood dash and REAL FULL leather and I loved the smell and textures in that real car, and I wanted one. Later a mates father had a Real Jaguar (with real wood and leather) and I wanted one of those as well After owning many different cars myself with plastic seats and plastic imitation wood, I decided that this time I would afford a (Land) Rover with real leather seats. But oh! what a dissapointment to find it was only the seat facings that are real leather If only they gave us the option to have full leather (as BMW) does, I would gladly have paid the extra, but you can keep your nasty plastic wood trims 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. I can only imagine that they have very bold tyres, and have switched on sand mode (or turned off TC altogther with a software update), otherwise the TC would kick in, and stop the wheels spinning. Gives LR a bad name, if you've read some of the comments on youtube, and yet I think they've gone out of there way to be able to do this, for fun. Rich |

Now these guys had a nice day off. I think that the FL2 would have done better than the X5 but than the FL2 should be compared with the X3 and there is no doubt who helds the upper hand. The X5 I think should be compared withthe D3 and again there is no competition there either FREELANDER 2 TD4 SE (XS UK) IZMIR BLUE SIDE STEPS COLD PACK BI-XENON TINTED WINDOWS - AND PROUD OF HER |

I would say that this is way more embarrasing. &NR=1 The language in the background is romanian. It was probably filmed during winter holidays when posh SUV owners go to chalets in the mountains and have the missfortune to find more mud than they can cope with. Not really funny from the X5 point of view as it had what?- 200 HP beeing pulled out by a 4X4 1P with a traier FREELANDER 2 TD4 SE (XS UK) IZMIR BLUE SIDE STEPS COLD PACK BI-XENON TINTED WINDOWS - AND PROUD OF HER |
