2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Santorini Black
New member question????

Hi there

I've drove defenders all my days also had a d3 and freelander 1.
I'm considering trading my 63 plate 90 hard top for a freelander 2 as I've 2 kids now and 2 seats don't work anymore.
I'm looking at an 11 plate solid white 33 k miles on it.£16.995.
I'm sure it's a gs model.so it would be a straight swap for my defender.
Does this sound a fair deal ??

As it's the cheaper model( can't afford an hse)how avalible are parts to make it upto a better spec in time?

Sorry for daft questions on a Sunday. Any feedback would be great. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Stornoway Grey

Freelanders aren't as easily adapted as Defenders, bits tend not to be bolted on so are much more difficult to swap around. That said, many parts will already be present, such as wiring within the loom. So upgrading isn't always as difficult as it may first seem.

For what it's worth. I'd think twice before buying a F2 with the intention of adding bits. Unlike a series or a defender, where adding bits is all part of the fun.
