Hi All

I recently picked up a 2012 (12 plate) XS SD4 auto.

Lovely car......now SWMBO wants mine instead of her 2013 GS TD4 manual

However, it came with a can of the dreaded sealant instead of a proper spare wheel or even a space saver. As an old school LR driver of many years, this just isn't right!

So,.....if I remove the polystyrene insert in the back that contains the can of foam and bottle of gunk, can I fit a proper spare wheel in there?

If so, what bits do I need to secure it?

Thirdly, if both these are possible, does anyone have a 235 x 65 x 17 wheel and tyre for sale, please?

Hi Luke

Yes, the spare wheel fits into the well. In addition to the wheel, you will need a jack, wheelbrace and toolkit clamping screw plus the clamping screw / floor support that is currently holding your foam insert in place and will be needed to hold the wheel securely in the well.
