My imagination they were there - or are they missing ?

Hi - I seem to remember there was a flexible black shield that covered the rearward part of the gap between the front wheel arch and the engine bay. (The front part of the gap has a rigid plastic shield )
Vehicle has been in garage for some work and I noticed today there is just a big gap at the rear part of both front wheel arches through to the engine bay
Can someone please confirm or otherwise if there should be a flexible shield there or did I just imagine them at some point
Just want to be sure before I call the garage and make noises about them not replacing them
Car was in to get steering centralised and wheel alignment so is possible they removed them to do that - assuming they were there to start with !!!

Thanks Freelander 2

I've just had a look at my 2010 and all I can see is a stiff plastic liner that just has a gap where the steering rack and brake line comes through.

Thanks for the replies and photo - was my imagination right enough ! Must have been on my previous vehicle !
You have saved me the embarrassment of complaining to garage to be no doubt answered with a polite - " Sir your vehicle was not originally fitted with any such covers therefore we did not remove them and nor did we forget to replace said non existent covers before we returned your vehicle ".- translate as you see fit !

Thanks again Freelander 2
