The rubber seal round the rear hatch opening is coming apart at the bottom (along the sill). Not helped by my big labrador leaping in and out but I have to say it looks a pretty flimsy piece of rubber for an area that takes maximum punishment (sliding luggage in and out).

My drivers door seal has split like that but at the bottom edge, I assumed it was caused by catching the seal with "my"foot

The seals can split when its frosty. My boot seal did and was replaced under warranty. |

The rear hatch rubber seal on my last FL2 was ripped by my labradors jumping in/out. Think Dan at Duckworths quoted £30+ for a new seal but I never got around to replacing it before I sold the vehicle. I now use a cheap floor mat from Lidl to protect the whole rear entrance. 11 GS Bali Blue

I don't know about the quality being used as I had 3 sets of rear door seals on my MY12 as they kept dropping off |
