Roof Rail removal

I recently added the LR007220 roof rails and crossbars and wondering how I remove them without having the holes left in the roof strips (hole drilling and plastic gromit removal required). I should have stuck with a tow bar and trailer for my needs. I hate the look of the car now and access to the roof box was quite awkward for my wife on the camping trips.

I have tried to find a part number to the roof strips to replace but couldn't find one. Any ideas?

Thanks

Contact forum sponsor Duckworth Parts - he should be able to sort you out with replacement strips:

The LR roof rails do seem particularly obtrusive, and I agree with you that the car looks better without them. An easily-removable third-party system might be the way to go, only mounting it when required.
