07 window has a mind of its own

Hi all

I have an 07 Freelander. About a month ago I went to close the window, the glass reaches then top then automatically comes back down to the bottom, 2 weeks later the era off side starting doing the same thing. I can close the window but only by doing small clicks and stop at the top. It's not the driver switch as it does the same in the back. I have tried the reset in the Manual with no joy.

Any advice would be welcome

Regards
Rob

HI, I'VE JUST LOGGED IN TO THIS FORUM - THIS PROBLEM I HAD A FEW WEEKS AGO - I ALSO HAD TO HAVE A NEW ALTERNATOR FOR MY FREELANDER 2 3.2. PETROL AUTO. I TOOK IT TO WILLIAMS LAND ROVER SPECIALIST IN MANCHESTER - MY DRIVER WINDOW WAS DOING EXACTLY THE SAME - THE SPECIALISTS TOLD ME THAT THE ON-BOARD COMPUTER SIMPLY NEEDED RE-SETTING TO CURE THE PROBLEM - AND IT DID.
