Towbar electrics

Does anyone have any experience with regards to aftermarket "dedicated" tow bar electrics?

Do they have the same interface as the genuine items? I have Parking sensors and need to make sure they are catered for and am also want to ensure i get the correct strategies for the AWD system which change when towing etc.

Is there any particular kit anyone could recommend?

I got mine from P F Jones. Just plugged in, no problem, works a treat. Jonathan

Ive bought from PF Jones before and fitted to a friends Audi. The Jones supply is a professional piece of kit, for the Audi all the connectors even had the VAG group logos in the plug mouldings. Ive also installed on Vauxhalls.
.
I am certain that the kit will provide the disabling of the park sensors however whether or not the 4WD terrain response is alerted would be a question for PF Jones to answer, You should also ask then if 'coding' is required. If you contact them it would be worth asking if their kit also notifies the auto box to change its mode whilst in towing; I know you have a manual box but it would be worth adding their comments on the Forum for others to read at a later date.
.
Kind regards from Fred.
