4x4 power split?

The manual says nothing about how my 2013 Freelander 2's power distribution works so I went online & found several articles but the info is really inconsistent, varying from 50/50 AWD, to 90/10 AWD, to 4WD on pull off then 2WD.
It will be great if anyone has the lowdown on normal road mode (not the terrain response stuff), I assume all models work the same.

From memory of what I was told on here, 90/10 in normal mode. 60/40 in grass, gravel, snow. 50/50 in mud & ruts and 50/50 in sand. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

The Freelander 2 is a permanent 4 wheel drive but the distribution between front and rear changes depending on a number of factors. From a standing start with Terrain Response in General it is 50/50 from 0 - approx 4 mph, it then switches to predominantly front wheel drive if the vehicle is moving in a straight (ish) line and at approx 70mph it will be giving you roughly 70/30. Start driving fairly aggressively or on twisting country roads and it will revert to 50/50.
Change to a different Terrain Response setting will alter the balance but again the system will further adjust the distribution depending on throttle input etc.

Thanks for the replies, it seems to be continuously variable even in normal mode so that probably explains the varied info available.

Just wonder how that looks on my Freelander 2007 Diesel without terrain response and 6 speed manuel.
Anybody knows? Is it 90/10 from start or is it only backwheel driving?

Works just the same as it does it the General program on cars fitted with Terrain Response.
Starts off 50/50, then goes predominantly front wheel drive, achieving about 70/30 spilt at 110kph (70mph).
Certainly not only backwheel driving as the Electronic Centre Coupling is driven off the front differential, hence the bias towards the front in most situations.
