United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Baltic Blue
#Hibernot

Was recently emailed by JLR with regards to the above campaign, and as I have some time on my hands this weekend, decided to go for it and take their recommended Trail.

They have plumped for Snake Pass, from Glossop to Ashbourne, as it is apparently a fantastic drive, and quite challenging. Does/has anyone on here know the route, places to stop off, areas to take the Freelander off-road etc etc? My plan is to drive up to Glossop on Thursday afternoon, B&B it overnight and then hit the trail on Friday. I'm making a leisurely day of it and winding up as suggested at Callow Hall for the night, before the trek home on Saturday.

Have to say I'm really looking forward to this as it's one of the few routes in the UK that I have never driven....any tips or pointers gratefully received.

For those that are interested, the link is here: http://trails.hibernot.co.uk

Cheers in advance Thumbs Up Foraging near Gaydon....

Apart from me, did anyone else on here get involved with this campaign over the Winter period?

Only reason I ask is that in today's post, Land Rover have very kindly sent me a hardback compilation book of all the best photographs taken by people that took part across the country....some of them are quite stunning, and I was wondering if any of you lot that are into photography might have inadvertently contributed to the making of the book. Foraging near Gaydon....

I was involved in it - they took a few of my pictures when i was out in the disco 3 in north yorkshire last winter...when the snow was above the door line!

Never seen them on the site though.

If they used them in the book, you would have been credited on the last page. Did you have a Twitter name or other...I can check if you like? Foraging near Gaydon....
