Childlocks

All

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere... my SD4 rear doors ... nearside rear is childlocked, only open from outside; offside rear opens happily from inside. I don't have kids so want both to be openable (is that a real word?) from inside...
there is a control in the door face but it seems to have no effect... suggestions welcomed. ...

You are aware that the control in the door needs to be operated with the key blade? That's the only control I know of which affects the child locks.

my rear doors won't open from the inside unless a front door or the unlock button is pressed first

to prevent the rears from opening from inside, all the time, i would have to turn the dial in the door side, near the lock catch

if your dial, isn't working, im not sure how you would bypass it, without removing the door trim to reconnect whatever it turns inside the door

Yep, tried it. Inoperable. As npinks alludes, probably some mech in the door body is jammed. Not a big thing. ...
