Pilot seat

Can anyone tell me is it possible to get a pilot seat (ie. one with arm rests) for a 2010 freelander 2.
What would the cost be and is it easy to fit.

A "pilot" seat or more usually called a "captain" seat is what is commonly fitted to camper vans. They have two armrests and rotate on their bases. What you are talking about, I presume, is a replacement front seat, but with an armrest, as fitted to HSE's etc. You could buy direct from your LR dealer, or try Duckworths, a Forum sponsor. The solution will not be cheap however. A more economical alternative would be to source a suitable seat from a breakers.

First thing to consider though, is what do you have at present? You do not say what year or model you have. Is it a manual or an electric seat? AFAIK, all armrest seats are electric, unless special order. If your original seats are manual, there may not be any wiring for the electric seat. Something else to consider!

It's a 2010 GS TD4e.

I got the arm rest thingy as soon as I bought the vehicle. It does the job but not in the perfect place for me.
As regards the seat I was just curious but the replies I'm getting were what I expected.
I have a manual seat which I have to pump up each morning as it seems to sink over night.
The electric seat would have been nice but you have to take what you can get.

Thanks for you advice peeps.

That's a fault we don't hear much about now, thought they had cured it.
Try a search, used to be a common problem a few years ago, the seat sinking.
