If you mean towing mirrors, Milenco Grand Aero are the D's B's. Thumbs Up

I researched this and bought the milenco grand aeros, you need the extra rubber inserts specific for the freelander. Word of warning though if you polish or clean your mirrors well then the aeros will just fall off over a bump as they dont grip. I have had to wrap insulation tape around the bottom of the brackets to stop them falling off. Other than that they are very good.

+ another Grand Aeros, with the V Pads.
As it happens just fitted the mirrors on, finishing this cup of tea and we will be gone.

I may have asked this before, but are the 'V pads' really necessary Question

I tried my Grand Aero's and they seem quite solid as standard, although I haven't been out with them yet.

Yes, EY, they fit without. It is just that with the V pads there is less potential to slip off.

Agree with everything said about the Grand Aeros. More expensive than some but the best by far. Also agree re the V pads worth getting them for sure.

Yes my thoughts on http://www.holidaycottages.co.uk Rolling Eyes that's what I also think, the van is so much better Smile

I found with the standard pad, you could tighten them, more the more you tightened them, the pad tended to slip to the edge, the V Pads grip better and you don't need to tighten them down so much.

I have the large Milenco mirrors and think they are great. The wing mirrors on my 07 SE had a curved front so the towing mirrors did not fit flush. I was just about to use a pipe bender to shape the milenco bars to match the wing mirror but luckily I noticed that the wing mirrors on the 2013 HSE Lux, that I had ordered, did not have a curved front and these allow much more of the pads to grip. As a matter of interest, where can I get the wedge shaped pads as I can see a definite advantage to these? 2007 SE Manual : Gone and missed but 2013 HSE Lux is better!
Series IIa : Gone but hopefully still alive.
