Hello,

I have noticed that the panel gap between the front wing and headlamp unit on my my14 is massive on the drivers side, it is 1cm at the top. please see photo. Is it a case of loosening the top two bolts and moving it back a bit.

As it is a xenon unit i assume this will not mess with the beam pattern.

Looks as if it needs to come out a bit at the bottom too. Wondering if its been slid into the lamp housing properly.
I don't have xenons so can't help with beam pattern. If its been set up as its fitted now I'd think that fitting the unit correctly will throw the beam high.

Remove the two top screws, and lift the light locator clip. Then slide the headlight out and re-fit. It just looks like it isn't in correctly..

Or as it's brand new take it back to the dealer and get them to do it..  FL2 HSE SD4, black, privacy glass, spoiler, 19' diamond cut alloys.

Thanks for the info. The cars in the dealers next week so i will add it to the list of faults for them to fix.
The ill fitting headlamp unit has a faulty drl in it anyway. It comes on a few seconds after the left one. Maybe the dealer tried to fix a fault and put it back in wrong.
