2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Tambora Flame

Airbag Removal Tool

.....I know I can get these from eBay/Amazon/etc.

However, are these actually an approved LR part? If so, anyone know the official LR part number and price?

2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Barolo Black

I have successfully used a straightened out wire coat hanger with a right angle bent into it at the end

Would you be able to buy the genuine item, I stand to be corrected, but I would have thought that only a dealer would have access to these items

The Land Rover part also appears to be a Ford part, both use the part number 501-106

...at $110, I think I would prefer the bent coat hanger or ebay clone option

Not for the genuine LR/Ford service tool......that appears to be bonkers money.

As I said in the OP, I knew I could get a cheap item for a few quid on the inter-web; I was interested to know if those were genuine LR parts.

From the price difference, I guess not.

Bent coat hanger has got to be the way forward.....
