The tabs should not have broken The 'key blade' removes the cover as well as unlocking once it is removed.

Hi Eastyorkshire, Many thanx for your reply. Have been on to Landrover tech assistance and they have just told me the same. I started on the drivers door side but.......having moved to passenger door have obtained entry without a problem. Would not start so am now charging the battery in hope...Many Thankx for your help. Just got to replace drivers door handle now. |

Yes, LR certainly made it difficult for us, why the UK market could not have it on the door you get in or out of is beyond belief.

When I thought about "breaking" in I never thought about the passenger door being the emergency entry. The alarm went off as soon as I opened the door and ceased once the key went in the ignition. Have topped up the battery andd now have fired up. Cheers! |
