United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Aintree Green

On the basis of 'a fool and his money are easily parted' I won't be buying one until I've test driven one (and one with an improved engine) which by all accounts won't be until Autumn 2015 at the earliest. Sad

So yes a maybe indeed. JLR have a reputation for designing and building great cars. The Disco Sport is Freelnadre 3 in all but name..of course I'll want one. But won't buy one until it's tried and tested

I was told by my dealer yesterday they have dozens of advance orders on the books, LR are to release some details to them on the 5th Septemeber, what I don't know but it sounds as though many people are ready for it.

Production will commence in around January time and I will look at setting up another Halewood trip around May time, we might get some glimpses of bits in production, it was obvious on the last trip that many changes were taking place in readiness for the new vehicles.

Will I be tempted....yes, maybe not initially, have just bought a 1 yr old HSE LUX so that will give me until Aug 2016 under warranty at which time it might be the right moment.

I thought when I bought my new one in March that it would be my last but when the warranty runs out on this one I may be tempted again, never satisfied that's me.
If this one behaves like my other one's then why not, my car, caravan and venturing into Europe gives us a lot of pleasure.

RRS fell through at the 11th hour...long story.
On reflection with tax and mileage have decided to stick with FL2 for now, just bought a Firenze (not fire engine) red HSE LUX to get me by.

Yes, I must agree Nut, what with the new Range Rover/Range a Rover Sport looking like an Evoque, I really hope they don't follow suit with the a Disco Sport.
