Three or four early morning frosts, no snow for the second consecutive year. Didn't need winter tyres but could have used floats occasionally Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

NE'ER CAST A CLOUT TIL MAY IS OUT... My understanding is that refers not to the month of May but to the flowering of the hawthorn tree, whose blossom is known as May, so I'd say get those winter tyres OFF! ... Be true to yourself. That way happiness lies... |

My belief is that a" clout " (according to me ole granny 98 and dead for some 40 years ) was it was a form of vest and having once come back from America 1 Easter early 80.s west coast line from Euston to Chester blocked by snow, had to go to Leeds then tarns-pennine to get home (some 14 hrs .!!) i think I might just chance leaving them on till may bank holiday . !!! (winter tyres that is .) not the vest !!! or at least till the lambs come up here ..!! Wales Were the mud is thicker, and the ruts are deeper. (And we have the water to wash it off, and more on the way..! ) Sd4 and chrome Ar*e piece, Auto box for best fun 09 Xs Gone 12 xs Gone HSE with Leather seats and 4 years warrenty.. staying for now ! |
