i always look at it this way, if an insurers garage can obtain a cheaper, part becauses its not stamped with the LR Logo then they will. They maybe identical, to look at, but my be made of thinner, less durable materials

Just renewed mine with LR for £275 for 13my GS with business use. Protected nc. £300 excess. They dropped from £315 when I rang them. So might be worth a call if want to stay with LR insurance. 1998 Feelander XDI Hardback - Gone

You may find this interesting - my wife's MY13 XS got shunted up the back last weekend at a roundabout (one of those 'sorry mate I though you were going' idiots). She's insured with LVE, and was prepared to take the hit that if anything happened to the car it wouldn't (as Land Rover Insurance tell you) be repaired using genuine parts. However she was pleasantly surprised when she reported the accident that LVE told her as the car was under 3 years old it should go back to the LR dealer to arrange repair with genuine parts! |

Have renewed with landrover insurance at £375. I dare say I'm a coward but feel safer with the promise of genuine lr parts etc.
