HOTEL LANDROVER by somebody with too much time on his hands Embarassed

On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night
There she stood in the doorway;
I heard the Freelander Horn sing
And I was thinking to myself,
'Drivin this is Heaven getting out could be Hell'
Then she lit up her Xenons and she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor,
I thought I heard them say...

Welcome to the Hotel Land Rover
Such a lovely place
Service with a smile on their face
Plenty of room at the Hotel Land Rover
Any time of year
You find your Summer Tires Here

Her mind is diferencialy twisted, she got one of those Mercedes Benz
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys now she calls friends
How they dance on the bonnet, sweet summer sweat.
Some dance to remember, some dance to forget

So I called Captain Tim,
'Please bring me some fine Whiskey'
He said, 'Get it yourself you dirty swaine'
And still those voices are calling from far away,
Wake you up in the middle of the night
Just to hear them say...

Welcome to the Hotel Land Rover
Such a lovely place
Service with a smile on their face
Plenty of room at the Hotel Land Rover
Any time of year
You find your Summer Tires Here

Rear View Mirrors on the ceiling,
The pink champagne on ice
And she said 'We are all just prisoners here, and it's very nice'
And in CG's chambers,
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can't kill the feathered beast

Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to hold the back passage
That chicken was RAW.....
'Relax,' said the night man,
'We are programmed to receive.
You can check-out any time you like,
But you can never leave! Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Busy day in the property/insurance world?
I suppose all your customers are out panic buying fuel! I fuelled up on Saturday (tank was empty). There was a largish queue, The car that used the pump before me had put £8 worth in it was still displayed on the pump before I started. Who in there right mind queues 10 minutes to put £8's worth in? At work
At home

On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of burning velour, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw an overturned caravan
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for a laugh Laughing At work

If you leave the engine running on a RRS whilst refuelling it drinks faster than the pump feeds the tank At work
