Now the tow bar saga is out of the way, I'm going to tackle the slightly grubby interior of my 07MY SE. It has what I believe to be the part leather ebony/scuba seat trim. I'm going to deal with the cloth inserts and door cards with the Rug Doctor at the weekend, but would quite like to get some leather colour restorer to bring the leather back to life.

Never used leather colour restorer myself . Without seeing pics of the seats i can't comment but for me I'd give Gliptone leather cleaner followed by their conditioner. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/interior/gli...d_211.html

They've faded in a few places (will try and take pics later). Will the Gliptone stuff restore the colour or just clean? |

My previous SE had part leather with blue cloth inserts. The leather was definitely Ebony(ie black) although first of all I thought it was blue. Bob 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone) 08 FL2 TD4 SE Manual in Rimini Red (Now Gone) |

I've had excellent results from Gliptone.

Others swear by Woolies which provide a leather cleaner, colour specific wax and a sealer in their kits. If you don't know the colour they will match to your trim if you send them a piece (carefully) snipped from any excess leather.
