The item in that link closed in 2011 so the description may no longer be valid. That would be a heck of a price to pay for iPod connectivity. The 2013MY has the connectivity. |

VPLFE0002 is still a valid LR Part number for the item required. Be warned, it's a very expensive bit of kit, and is Dealer fit only (again at huge expense) Foraging near Gaydon....

Thanks for the info guys ... Looks like LandRover missed a trick there... I had a Hyundai 4X4 and it had USB, Bluetooth and an iPod interface as standard..... Still, the HSE is an excellent vehicle. |

I can't see why that's dealer fit only? I have one in my 2010MY and it's plug and play, with no ecu enabling required. It is expensive but they come up on eBay now and again. Mine has a USB stick plus iPhone 5s (via a 30 pin to Lightning adaptor) connected and works just fine, with steering wheel control over volume and track forwards/backwards. The only niggles are no track name display on the head unit plus still no music via BT, just voice. |

Yes, it's disappointing that the audio system doesn't support the audio profile on the older models. Why not do what I did and buy a USB Bluetooth Receiver and plug that into the AUX socket?
