Just read your location, it may be that HSE exports cars didn't have heated screens as standard.

Thanks all for the replies. The car actually originated from The Netherlands. I bought the car when I lived in Germany. As far as I am aware and been told that the spec Euro and UK should be the same.

Maybe previous owners have changed the module or something who knows.
