The front HST bumper on my 07 Freelander has partly come away from the body. The sticky strip is still stuck to the car. Does anyone know if it would be a good idea to use a silicon adhesive to fix it back. I understand the strip is only a double sided strip, I am hoping the above will cure the problem.

Silicon is more of a sealant than an adhesive although it will stick things together. Where there is a potential for any movement between the parts you would need a proper waterproof adhesive. GONE - '07 TD4 GS manual Zermatt Silver
