Off the top of my head I believe I measured mine at 8mm when new. It was not less than that. I have just had a look to see if I had recorded it but no luck there.

Perhaps someone else will come up with a more definite answer.

I'm pretty sure I measured mine at 8mm (on the unused spare) when I was trying to work out the wear rate on the 4 used tyres ...
