It shouldn't interfere with the sensors even if you don't detach it, I assume that a Light Board will be used, if the LR dedicated Electrics are being used, they will need enabling, as soon as you plug in the light Board it will disable your Rear Sensors and Rear Fogs. |

The sensors don't actually allow for the tow bar. They just don't see it. It is dead central in a small "dead" zone between the spread of the two nearest sensors. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

I have a swanneck towbar and it hasn't ever affected the parking sensors |

I has a fixed towbar with a bracket for a maxraxx bike carrier, no issues with tow bar and rear sensors, and when i plug in the light bar, or caravan the sensors are disabled along with the fogs. My11 freelander 2, xs, Manual, 18" hse sparkles, sidesteps, privacy, zermatt silver metallic, almond nutmeg alacantra, twin electric towbar
