A few years ago I had a stint driving lorries for the firm i was a service engineer for as I have a class 1 licence and things were a tad quiet. I was having a brew in a layby on the A449 when a Polish wagon pulled up in the layby the other side........

It's all different cultures! Problem is our governments want to embrace other cultures, I wonder what would happen if all us Brits started having a dump at the side of the road!? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Shape of toilets in services does not suit the cultural background. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own! |

I'm not proud (I am, really) that I have done something similar. I was stuck in the mother of all traffic jams on New Year's Day of 2000 trying to leave a music festival in the Everglades of Florida. To give you an idea how bad it was, it took me 21 hours to drive what should have taken 90 minutes...

Years ago I was taken short while fishing in a lake off of the A12 in Chelmsford and it was absolutely pishing down - I had an umbrella so I was protected from the elements but it was just coming down too hard to go 'al fresco' if you get my drift. My Bedford Rascal van was parked in a lay-by on the A12 next to the lake. I got in the back and c a r e f u l l y had a dump in an empty McDonalds burger bag left over from my breakfast. Luckily I had plenty of serviettes left over too. Thing was, I had my 8 year old son with me at the time on his first fishing trip and I couldn't dare leave him by the lake on his own so he had to come with me and witness the event - I'd never seen him laugh so much. He still talks about that day and he's 27 now! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

The easiest is always when you're surf angling. I have a friend who calls it "chumming the waters." |

Back in the misspent days of my youth, I managed a small art-house movie theater - we played a lot of indie and foreign releases. Anyhow, I also ran the projection booth... there were many times you'd see suspicious "activity" from up above and more than 1 man had the house lights suddenly turn on while he was mid...stroke, so to speak. To see someone try to run up a theater to the exit with his glory hanging out and pants half off was a truly hilarious. |
