To Zone 30 - you should not need to bleed the brakes UNLESS you do something silly while changing the pads - ie if you were to for example press the pedal with no pads fitted, which would cause the pistons to shoot out of the calipers. There is no need to interfere with the hydraulic system when changing shoes.

Yet there is a link to the Topix D3 Manual over on Disco3, someone must be paying a subscription for it, lots of adverts on it to help with payment. http://workshop-manuals.com/landrover/lr3/...formation/ |

I shall be intrigued to know if its a rewrite if topix with daft script from a desk bound hands off mechanic or if they have had an experienced hands on mechanic do the work and script it.

Good point Badger. Mines an MY10, I fancy buying a copy. I wonder if it will be cheaper buying from the likes of Play or Amazon rather than direct from Haynes, think I'll wait and see. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Might be worth waiting and seeing if they actually strip down a car or just regurgitate Topix. |

It's years since I last used a Haynes manual, but they have always prided themselves on doing their own strip-down and rebuild for their manuals.

Now is that a manual for the diesel only or a manual for a manual ( not automatic) diesel? Just a query |
