Hi. I am in the market for a 2014 LR2 and I have been keeping an eye on any discounts but want to know what is typical throughout the year in Canada.
Right now until the end of February some dealers are offering "up to $3500 off" of a cash purchase on an LR2. I am wondering if there may be better incentives if I wait for a while longer.
Has anyone followed the manufacturer discounts on the LR2 and do they typically offer more discount later in the year? Or is February a typically slow month and that's why they are offering it?
That is, should l jump on this deal or risk waiting and potentially loosing out on the discounts?

They normally run the same discounts for a few months. For the LR2 (Freelander 2) Feb/Mar specials have been the best ( over the last 4 years).

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that wasn't the case as I am not ready to purchase just yet.
I suppose I could always hold off until this time next year since the LR2 appears to be mostly unchanged for 2015.

There should be and LR2 replacement in late 2014/early2015, so perhaps you could get a good price on a 2014 current-fen LR2 that hasn't been sold when the new ones come in

Yeah I think I'm going to wait.
Not sure that they are replacing the LR2 in 2015. I have read that they plan on updating it very slightly.

I've heard that it will look pretty similar to the Evoque, only bigger.
