To fill the Haldex you are supposed to fill it until oil runs from the filler plug, switch on the ignition and wait 5 minutes, top up the Haldex until the oil runs out the filler hole again and then remove exactly 70ml of oil. I don't know what the significance of taking out the 70ml of oil is. Perhaps a high oil level may let oil seep through the seal to the diff or maybe it can affect the pump. Anyone know? John

ive had few problems after installing diff. There was tiny hole in center of diff, bottom of it. Tiny washer arounding and center of it tiny hole which leaked somekind of oil and when inspected it it was diff oil, sticky. Then i tryed to stop it whit chemical methallic padding whit out succes, until the leak suddently stopped , no idea but now i think its fine and i have checked both haldex and diff plug and there is oil so i dont think i have to worrie about =)? no one could tell me about the hole, somebody told that its somekind of tell tell hole of bearing seal failure, and someone told that there should not be anykind of hole bottom of it

The hole should be there. If you had a leak which went away, my guess is the new seal bedded in a bit after a while and stopped leaking. Or you have no diff oil left! John
