Have a look in my gallery at my old black 62 Plate...it has everything on there that you would possibly want. If you want some watery fun, then I can heartily recommend the Willoughby to Grandborough road...pretty much at maximum wading depth all the way through. If you fancy pushing your luck, Offchurch is it's usual flooded self, and I may well pop down there later on to rescue some stranded idiots who can't read warning signs!! Happy days Foraging near Gaydon....

Hi Badger, thanks for the reply, I will take a look through your pictures, I might take a look at the Willoughby to grandborough in the week....is it easy to find? I know roughly where Willoughby is but it is not somewhere I know, I don't think I would risk it in the freelander though as I'm not sure of its capabilities yet compared to my warrior

No problem, you're welcome. The Freeleander coped just fine with it, what seemed like a lake to the average car driver was just a puddle to the Freelander, so you won't face any problems getting through. Get out to Willoughby on the A45 Daventry Road from Rugby, and follow the only road out of the village...eventually it will take you through to Stockton. One word of warning - a lot of tree branches are down in the area and are submerged in water....be cautious, just in case they clatter your undershield. good luck with the mods, whatever you do to it. Foraging near Gaydon....

I put the front spats on my 07 GS as I had seen them on the later models and was told it would stop the water coming over the bonnet when driving though puddles. They don't!

So you cover it in cement dust and then get it all wet. Hmmm. First FL2 statue coming right up ... ... ... ! Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own! |

It will help, but putting them to the floor will stop it but it's far from practical, you have a vehicle with high ground clearance, nature of the beast. |

You will find them on yours when it arrives Andy, its like a little mudflap located on the front bumper in front of the wheels. They came out with the facelift bumper in late 2010, they then fitted a modified version a few months later.
