Different breed of people in those days CG. There was pride, a desire to help each other in greater numbers than nowadays. Bravery still exists, but in times of war, its amazing how it goes viral.

CG what book is it your reading? Sounds an interesting read. I bet there are still loads of heroic stories from past troubles etc that haven't been recorded. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

lots of short chapters describing how each cross was earned, ultimately depressing as 75% of the recipients die before the end of the chapter. However I wonder how many lives were saved by all the actions described. At work
