Russia 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Santorini Black

You should take a ferry to Tallinn, the 1h in dealership is about 40€ and glow plugs were about 160€/set. Many finns maintain their cars here at Inchcape. According to the dealer some Russians living in S-Pb also drive to Tallinn to get their cars maintained.

The webasto unit installed from the factory works as an aux heater warming up the car much faster. This can be changed to a parking heater rather simply. You can find a lot of info here: https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic10863.html and the factory manual for adding timer/remote: https://www.freel2.com/gallery/albums/user...atures.pdf

I installed the 1533 timer on my car and can now start the webasto at will. This will only heat the engine. Total cost for me was less than 100€. The dealership enabled the telestart function for 13€ and had no complaints about the timer getting added to the car.

Getting warm air into the interior is much harder. Aux coolant pump is needed and some other device to open air flaps and turn on the fan. I know Russians had some mod for it but the cost was also about 1k€. With cost difference of about 200€ your dealership has found some sort of a new trick.

Most prefer Latvia for an unknown reasons. At least for after-guarantee maintenace with engine\transmissions rebuild.
