Hi all, just asking how people have removed the green LR badges/ front LR badge and freelander 2 badges, which tools are best to prize the old labels off? i know it helps if you warm them up, thanks for any info, Gazza

Dental floss may be strong enough and not damage the paintwork underneath.

You've got it. Normally I'd say tall floss, but you can't get behind them, so just carefully prise them off with something like a small screwdriver. I know the rear quarter lights were awkward. I ended up digging into the badge plastics so I could prise them off. It was either that or take I chance on damaging the paint.

Saw badging off with fishing line. Easy, no bodywork damage
Remove adhesive residue with 3M tar & adhesive remover, work it with soft cloth.
All very easy, just a little patience required.

Hairdryer and dental floss worked fine on mine. I took all the "lettering" off because it was such a faff trying to clean round them. Then realised the bonnet needed lettering so replaced it with Powerful UK slightly larger lettering....easier to clean round! John
