Australia 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Alaska White

Now I am concerned.. Doesn't snow where I live .. Smile .. Any other way of diagnosing without taking it to mechanic? My rear does squeal on tight roundabouts like tyre squealing on smooth car park surfaces..told the dealership and they said it was just the tyres ..sounded like the tyres too..think I am getting paranoid.. Very Happy

No squealing from mine, no noise and drives ok, but as I do not know of another way of checking it out - and with no prospect of snow here either - I think I will ask the dealer to check next week when it goes in for a small rectification job. 2011 XS SD4, Indus Silver (Getting to love it more and more)

2007 HONDA CRV CDT-I Exec (Gone and really missed)

Would appreciate an update after you approach the dealership. Thanks. The tyre squel is not audible with the windows up..only heard by accident with windows down one day going round a tight roundabout... And ever since, I have noticed it each time going round a small roundabout. Sad

Spoke to dealer today. Service manager said if there was a broken driveshaft or diff problem meaning no drive to one or both rear wheels, then there would be a light on the dash to show a problem. No light on dash, but he has agreed to take car in and check it over. 2011 XS SD4, Indus Silver (Getting to love it more and more)

Amazed that a light would come on the dash to tell me I had a broken drive shaft, if that was the case!! However, I bow to the service managers superior knowledge, there seem to be so many computers on the Freely that it would not surprise me.
Will now have to wait and see what the outcome is when they put it on the diagnostic test. 2011 XS SD4, Indus Silver (Getting to love it more and more)
