You possibly don't get the horrid corrosive atmosphere as in the UK

Yep just go swmbos done intermittent fault £50 fix from garage inc parts and labour |

Yes just done mine. The problem in the small micro switch corroding inside. I got a complete unit from LR and fitted it in about an hour. Most difficult part is removing and replacing the tailgate internal trim. |
