My knowledge of diesels' is limited but, if it was a petrol vehicle, I would use my tank of gas down to 1/4 tank, refill up with the best diesel available, reset/clear the code and drive out that tank of gas. If the code reappears I would clear it often and run at least one more tank of the best diesel through it. Just my 2 cents. |

@Kage, I think you misinterpreted Motions comment…. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.

Easy job to take it out. Disconnect the electrical plug on top of the EGR valve. You can see the tail running down to the exhaust.

A heated O2 sensor may have two possible codes, one for the sensor performance itself, and one for the heater circuit.
