Tyre pressures (normal use)

Just thinking longer term here. Some months after I took delivery of my FL1 in 1998, LR issued a technical bulletin stating that owners should adjust their tyre pressures, after numerous reports of excessive tyre wear when using the handbook pressure settings.

I note that some of you have now clocked up good mileages and wondered whether any undue problems have occured due to over pressure / under pressure type wear, when using the factory figure? Was GS TD4 Auto, Privacy, Santorini with Tundra & Alpaca, Cold Climate Pack. Traded for Discovery Sport HSE Auto.

My tyres are looking pretty good at 35k miles. I'm sure they'll see me well into the 40's. They are wearing remarkably evenly, no shoulder wear, no obvious difference front to rear. They are Goodyear Wranglers, have towed caravan about 1200miles, some off road playing, lots of motorway and A and B road miles. I do check pressures regularly with a decent gauge that lives in the car but they maintain pressure extremely well, hardly made any adjustments.
So from me tyres from gets Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
